According to recent updates from meteorological authorities, Typhoon “Tammy” is set to enter the eastern part of the South China Sea on the night of October 24, gradually intensifying to possibly reach strong tropical storm or typhoon levels. As a result, areas such as southwestern Guangdong and Hainan Island are expected to experience heavy to torrential rain. In light of this, Guangxi Railway Group is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of passenger trains, including adjusting routes and suspending certain services.

As of 3 PM on October 24, the following adjustments to train services have been announced:
1. On October 25, the Z501/4/1 train from Beijing West Station and the K511/4/1 train from Shanghai South Station, as well as the Z114/1 train from Harbin West Station, will now terminate at Guangzhou Baiyun Station. On October 26, trains Z502/3/2 from Sanya Station, K512/3/2 from Haikou Station, and Z112/3 from Haikou will begin their journeys from Guangzhou Baiyun Station the following day.
2. The Z384/5 train departing from Changchun Station on October 24 will now terminate at Guangzhou Baiyun Station, while the Z386/3 train from Haikou Station will start from there on October 27.
3. The K457 train from Xinxiang Station on October 25, along with the K458 train from Haikou Station, Z8006/7 trains from Shenzhen East Station, and Z8008/5 trains from Haikou Station on October 26, will all be suspended.

Railway authorities will continue to monitor the situation and make dynamic adjustments to train operations as the impact of the typhoon progresses.
