MC Chux, who has built a reputation for his unique style of humor, revealed that the inspiration for the show came from constant questions about his marital status.
He explained, “While I was planning my event, I had a different theme in mind, but something didn’t feel right. Every time I spoke to friends, mentors, or colleagues about the show, they all kept asking the same question: ‘MC Chux, when will you marry? When are we getting the invite?’”
Realising that this question was on everyone’s mind, MC Chux decided to make it the central theme of his show. “I thought, why not share my side of the story and explain my experiences with Lagos girls in a funny and relatable way?” he said with a laugh.
The show, he added, will offer the audience an inside look into the comic’s personal experiences and hilarious reasons behind his bachelor status.

As for his ideal woman? MC Chux says he’s looking for someone with purpose, contentment, vision, and who is God-fearing.
When asked if he believes he has done everything right to attract the right woman, he responded with a smile, “Maybe I’m too honest and realistic – you know, they say ladies love lies. If you tell the truth, they might not take you seriously.”
For now, MC Chux remains focused on his career and bringing laughter to his fans. “I’m still a work in progress,” he admitted. “But I’m grateful to God for the journey so far.”
As he prepares for his show, MC Chux has some advice for upcoming comedians: “Patience and mentorship are key. Work hard, get wisdom, and the sky will accommodate you.”
