On October 25, a drone struck an apartment building in Kyiv, Ukraine, causing a fire and damaging at least three floors. Ukrainian authorities reported that the drone attack occurred in the capital, leading to significant destruction, although the number of casualties remains unclear.

A reporter from AFP on the scene described how the drone collided with the apartment building, igniting the fire. Ukrainian officials have dispatched personnel to address the situation.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko took to Telegram to share updates, stating, “This incident took place in the Solomianskyi district, where a high-rise building was attacked by an enemy drone, and fire services are currently on site managing the aftermath.”

The Solomianskyi district is located on the western side of the capital. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began two and a half years ago, cities like Kyiv have consistently faced targeted attacks from Russian drones and missiles.
