On October 24, the Beijing Bureau of Civil Aviation announced that China’s civil aviation will implement its flight schedule for the 2024 winter and spring season starting October 27. According to the news released by Beijing Daxing International Airport, the airport will have an average of 978 scheduled flights per day during this new season, including 892 domestic passenger flights, 72 international and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan passenger flights, and 14 cargo flights.
Daxing Airport is set to serve 133 domestic passenger destinations this season, maintaining a similar number to the previous season. Notable new routes will be introduced to Tian, Anshan, Jixi, Tengchong, and Shiyan. The frequency of seasonal routes will see significant increases, especially to popular destinations such as Haikou, Sanya, Quanzhou, and Jieyang. Additionally, there will be more flights to major cities like Shanghai Pudong, Shanghai Hongqiao, Dalian, Kunming, Yiwu, Fuzhou, Nanchang, and Hefei.
In this new season, while maintaining a stable range of international and regional connections, Daxing Airport will also launch new international routes. Beginning October 28, Saudi Airlines will introduce a route from Daxing to Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Singapore Airlines will start a daily round-trip service from Daxing to Singapore on November 11. China Southern Airlines plans to launch flights to Sydney and Melbourne from Daxing in December, while Royal Air Maroc is scheduled to resume its Daxing to Casablanca route in January 2025, with plans for three flights per week.
